I’m a writer, editor, and content strategist with more than a decade of experience shaping content and storytelling for healthcare, nonprofit, and mission-driven brands. I began my career as a magazine and digital journalist covering health, fitness, nutrition, and parenting for publications such as Family Circle, Fitbie, and Latina. With a background in journalism, I’m skilled at interviewing experts, researching scientific studies, and translating complex topics into clear, human-centered stories for specific audiences.

Today, I bring that same editorial rigor and curiosity to marketing and communications. I’ve led content and website strategy for healthcare organizations including Keck Medicine of USC and the National Eczema Association—managing editorial calendars, writing and editing digital content, and collaborating across design, UX, and SEO teams to improve engagement and brand visibility. As a copywriter at Kaiser Permanente, I developed multi-channel marketing campaigns for patients, taking projects from creative brief to website content hub, plus supporting materials including direct mail, emails, in-hospital collateral, social posts, and web banners—all while presenting work and managing stakeholder feedback and legal reviews.

Beyond healthcare, I’ve written about early childhood education, fitness programs for NYC school kids, beauty trends and business tips for nail salon owners, and punk music for LA music zines. My writing career hasn’t been a straight line—it’s been messy, fun, and versatile.

Through it all, I’ve honed the ability to quickly learn new industries and audiences. Whatever the topic, that’s the fun part for me: digging deep into what matters most to the audience and creating content that meets their needs.

I actually got my start writing about punk music in college—talk about an opinionated audience. It taught me early on the value of understanding your audience and your subject matter. That lesson has shaped every project since. I do the work to learn the audience (and the organization’s voice) so I can deliver content that informs, connects, empowers, or inspires action.

My passion is simplifying complex topics into clear, useful content; streamlining workflows to make projects run smoother; and managing and publishing content in a CMS.
